Kathmandu- The prices of gold and silver increased a lot in the Nepali market today compared to Thursday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Merchants Federation, the price of gold went up by 3,500 per tola, while the price of silver increased by Rs 100 per tola. After this rise, one tola of gold is now priced at Rs 256,000, and one tola of silver costs Rs 3,905. On,Wednesday, gold was sold at Rs 253, 100 per tola, and silver was sold at Rs 3,805 per tola. This shows that prices have risen within a short time. Experts say the increase is linked to higher prices  in the international market.

According to international reports, gold is trading at $4,275 per ounce and silver at $62 per ounce in the global market today. Traders believe that if global prices remain high, gold and silver prices in Nepal may rise more in the coming days.
