Kathmandu- Four newly appointed ministers took the oath of office on friday afternoon at the office of the President, Sheetal Niwas. President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.The newly appointed ministers are Shraddha Shrestha, Madhav Chaulagain, Rajendra Singh Bhandari and Kumar Ingam. This is the fourth expansion of the interim cabient formed after the Gen-Z Movement with this expansion, the cabinet now has 14 members.
Minister Kumar Ingam is a professor at kathmandu school of law and is known for his expertise in international trade law, arbitration and financial crme. Labour Minister Rajendra Singh Bhandari is a former Additional Inspecter General of Nepal Police and the founding chief of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Forest Minister Madhav Chaulagain is a public health expert recoignized for his research on the karnali region. Shraddha Shrestha is a senior manager at theNepal Tourism Board and previously led its Sustainable Tourism project.
The oath taking ceremony was attented by Vice President Ram Sahey Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, along with ministers, senior government officials and heads of security agencies.
